I gave birth to my daughter at home in the middle of the living room when I was 25. I experienced how amazing it can be to give birth at home, and that experience has been shared with many other births - including first-time mothers like myself.

Mission
I started Enblidstart with a mission to support and guide pregnant women to have a safe and positive home birth. I want to pass on the opportunity and knowledge that giving birth at home can be a powerful, beautiful and not least safe experience. Everyone deserves to experience the unique feeling of meeting their newborn in a homely environment, where peace can descend upon both baby and parents. It provides a gentle start to life - both for the child and for you as new parents.

Vision
My vision is to create a future where homebirth is a recognized and natural choice for pregnant women with uncomplicated pregnancies. I want all pregnant women to have the necessary knowledge and information to choose homebirth as a safe and secure option – equal to hospital births. My goal is to promote homebirth as an empowering and beautiful experience for both first-time and multiple births, when it occurs within health professional recommendations. I dream of a world where more families can bring their children into the world in the peace and security of their own home.

Passion
My passion for helping pregnant women experience a peaceful, intense and beautiful home birth stems from my own experience and the care I have seen through my mother's work as a social and health assistant in the labor ward at Hvidovre Hospital and later as a nurse. Her caring nature has been a great inspiration to me, and my biggest dream since I was little has always been to become a mother. It comes naturally to me to be helpful, investigative and empathetic, and I am deeply motivated by creating a birth experience that strengthens both the woman and the family.

This strong motivation to help others, combined with my empathy and understanding of the challenges that many future and new families may face, has led me to start Enblidstart. I am passionate about supporting and guiding others through one of life's most important transitions - the beginning of parenthood. Through Enblidstart, I can use my desire to make a difference by helping parents create security and peace in the first days with their newborn.

At Enblidstart, everything I do is based on safety, care and presence. I believe that birth is one of life's most significant transitions, and that calm, knowledge and empathetic support can make a significant difference for both mother, partner and child.

I value naturalness, respect and individual needs – because no birth journey is the same. My goal is to create a space where pregnant women feel seen, heard and supported, so they can enter birth with confidence and trust in their own bodies.
