How does TENS work?

If you have a pacemaker or heart rhythm problems :
Electronic medical devices can be interfered with by TENS units.

In the first 3 months of pregnancy :
It is not known how TENS affects fetal development at this time.

On the stomach in the later stages of pregnancy :
Do not use the device on your stomach and stop use immediately if you experience unexpected contractions.
