Welcome to Enblidstart ♡

My name is Cecilie Larsen, and I am a mother of a daughter – and the woman behind Enblidstart. I have experienced firsthand how magical, but also overwhelming, becoming a mother can be. The time leading up to, during and after birth is filled with emotions, questions and changes in both body and mind. Feeling safe, supported and listened to has been the alpha and omega for me – and that is exactly the feeling I want to pass on to other pregnant women and new families.

My birth experience

At 25, I gave birth to my daughter at home in the middle of the living room 🏡 It was a safe, peaceful and deeply positive experience, where I felt what the body can do when the environment is safe, and you feel seen and supported. I experienced how calm, presence, security and love can create the best environment for both mother and child. Giving birth at home – even as a first-time mother – gave me a deep respect for the power of birth and for the importance of knowledge and trust in your own body.

Enblidstart is created as a loving universe for pregnant women and new families – a place with room for peace, questions and individual needs. A place where security is not something you have to look for, but something you can feel.

What drives me

My passion for supporting pregnant women and families is also inspired by the care I grew up with through my mother's work in the maternity ward and later as a nurse. It has taught me how much calm, empathy and knowledge matter in one of life's most vulnerable and significant transitions.

I believe that no two births are the same, and that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, care and trust. My desire is to support you so that you can enter birth – and into motherhood – with peace, confidence and the feeling of being well-supported all the way.
